About Logika Consultants
Logika Consultants acts as the catalyst for sustainable and resilient development, not by reacting to proposals, but by being at the heart of their evolution from the outset.
We provide environmental solutions for our clients by working with their architects and engineers to support the development of proposals that have environmental design measures fully embedded within them.
These measures could, for example, improve flood management, increase biodiversity, reduce air pollution and noise, or help create beautiful places that improve the health and wellbeing of the people that use them. Importantly, the key aim is to develop solutions that are most likely to add value and achieve planning consent in a cost-effective manner. We do this by utilising our skills and experience, developed over the last two decades, as well as those of our sister companies, Air Quality Consultants and Noise Consultants, with whom Logika is intrinsically linked.
With Logika Consultants at the centre of the design process, the result is better, the solutions are fully integrated, with places that are designed to be more resilient to climate change, and developments that preferably enhance rather than adversely affect the environment. They often cost less too. As designs evolve, we test and assess them for their environmental performance and effects, making improvements until optimum solutions are reached. Once a design is fixed, we can undertake detailed environmental assessments including surveys, for a range of aspects including biodiversity, water, and landscape and visual. With our sister companies we can cover the same for air quality, carbon and noise. We have extensive experience of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), which is often required for planning applications or other types of development consent.
Where needed, we can also help clients navigate the often complex and challenging path of environmental legislation, policy and regulation associated with development. We can provide environmental advice and strategic direction, particularly for major infrastructure, to complement advice given by planners and lawyers, focusing on environmental matters. We make the path to gaining the right to build simpler.
