Alex is a Senior Ecology Consultant with Logika and joined the company in 2023.

Alex is a Senior Ecology Consultant and joined the company in 2023.

Alex has a strong background in field surveying and EcIA’s, with specialisms in GIS and bat ecology.  Alex also holds a Natural England license for great crested newt.

Her past experiences have seen her involved in large and small-scale projects, ranging from commercial and private housing developments to major infrastructure schemes with Highways England, National Grid, Network Rail and Greater Anglia. 

Prior to this, Alex obtained a first-class MZool (Hons) in Zoology with Conservation from Bangor University where her fourth-year dissertation, which looked at potential wildlife conflicts and farming, won the Ian Herbert Memorial Prize for the best undergraduate project in applied biology.

Cross River Park

Environmental design input into a feasibility study for a large new urban park, comprising of land within the London Boroughs of Greenwich and Newham and to include the River Thames that would pass through its centre.

 
 

A Green Street Vision for Central London

The Greater London Authority (GLA) wished to articulate to stakeholders, such as the London Borough of Camden and Transport for London, how green infrastructure and other interventions could be used to improve air quality along some of London’s most polluted roads.

A new Nuclear Power Station is currently under construction at Hinkley Point, Somerset. This was permitted via a Development Consent Order as it is a piece of National Significant Infrastructure.
