Richard is a Principal Consultant at Logika with more than 15 years’ experience in environmental consultancy. He specialises in the assessment of flood risk and has worked with both public bodies and private sector clients.
His recent experience has included leading the development of strategic scale hydraulic models for the Environment Agency’s Water and Environment Management and Mapping and Modelling frameworks. Richard has also developed pluvial models to evaluate surface water flood alleviation schemes for a number of Local Authority clients, such as Buckinghamshire Council and North Norfolk County Council. Alongside this work, he has produced site-specific hydraulic models as part of fluvial flood risk assessments for clients including the London Legacy Development Corporation and Veolia.
Richard has significant experience in the production of Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy schemes for private sector clients, including national housebuilders such as Taylor Wimpey and CALA Homes.
