Alex is a Graduate Ecologist with a strong foundation in ecology, biodiversity, and environmental science and joined the company in 2025.
He obtained a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Southampton, where his dissertation focused the impacts of overfishing on marine biodiversity. His field experience spans birds, bats, reptiles, freshwater invertebrates, UK flora, and terrestrial, marine and freshwater ecosystems.
Since joining Logika, Alex has contributed to ecological assessments, protected species surveys, and the development of mitigation strategies in line with UK legislation and planning policy. So far, he has worked on a range of projects from major infrastructure schemes to commercial developments.
Alongside consultancy, Alex has worked on sustainability initiatives through ESG roles, gaining insight into corporate frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and circular economy practices. He is a Qualifying member of CIEEM and has experience with GIS, statistical modelling, and ecological reporting.
