Robin has a strong background in botany field survey and is qualified to Level 4 of the FISC certification. She has experience undertaking rare plant surveys, NVC surveys, as well as baseline habitat surveys for PEA and BNG assessments. She has experience in Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA), Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), and has a good awareness of the design process and making influential and practical decisions to make a better outcome for biodiversity.
Her past experiences have seen her involved in large and small-scale projects, ranging from commercial and private housing developments to major coastal management schemes with the Environment Agency, where she worked alongside engineers to alleviate impacts of coastal flood schemes on protected habitats. She has worked closely with stakeholders such as Natural England to ensure a fair and comprehensive solution is made towards ecological issues.
Robin holds Natural England licenses for dormice and great crested newt and has a wide range of experience surveying for these and other protected species.
