From the gathering of and then drawing upon baseline environmental data, four possible options were identified to create a new Nature Reserve on land in Nevendon. These options ranged from a ‘traditional’ type nature reserve to an eco-farm to a sustainable design park.
A detailed consultation exercise was undertaken with two major stakeholder workshops held. Following the workshops, two options were taken forward for detailed design. Once these two designs were fully designed, a feasibility exercise was undertaken, which included considering financial and other wider issues, after which a preferred option was developed.
